The 5-AM Club by Robin Sharma is a self-help book that advocates the importance of being an early riser and taking advantage of the ‘Victory Hour’ to transform oneself, achieve goals, and elevate one's life.
As I started experiencing, early mornings provide a peaceful and distraction-free start to the day. This helps build a consistent morning routine and sets a tone for the rest of the day.
The author describes a 20-20-20 framework for achieving a consistent morning routine. This means spending 20 minutes on the three essential tasks of Move, Reflect, and Growth. For example - focusing the first 20 minutes on Exercising (sprinting, running, or any high-intensity exercise), 20 minutes of meditation/ journaling, high-intensity, and 20 minutes of reading/ writing.
Through a very engaging storyline, the author introduces us to the framework and conveys the benefits of setting it as he describes it.
